3 Honor widows who are truly widows. 4 But if a widow has children or grandchildren, let them first learn to show godliness to their own household and to make some return to their parents, for this is pleasing in the sight of God. 5 She who is truly a widow, left all alone, has set her hope on God and continues in supplications and prayers night and day, 6 but she who is self-indulgent is dead even while she lives. 7 Command these things as well, so that they may be without reproach. 8 But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
9 Let a widow be enrolled if she is not less than sixty years of age, having been the wife of one husband,[a] 10 and having a reputation for good works: if she has brought up children, has shown hospitality, has washed the feet of the saints, has cared for the afflicted, and has devoted herself to every good work. 11 But refuse to enroll younger widows, for when their passions draw them away from Christ, they desire to marry 12 and so incur condemnation for having abandoned their former faith. 13 Besides that, they learn to be idlers, going about from house to house, and not only idlers, but also gossips and busybodies, saying what they should not. 14 So I would have younger widows marry, bear children, manage their households, and give the adversary no occasion for slander. 15 For some have already strayed after Satan. 16 If any believing woman has relatives who are widows, let her care for them. Observation
Hosea's plea for the people of Israel is to return to the LORD. Hosea as a prophet suffered much for he had to marry a prostitute, against his will he obeyed the LORD for a servant of GOD suffers along with the Master he serves so that he be an effective messenger of GOD to HIS people when a servant feels exactly what GOD feels.
GOD has already proclaimed judgements against GOD's people for they have not been fearful to hear and obey HIS WORD Spoken by the young Prophet GOD sent who is Jeremiah. GOD's word to the rest of the obedient in the land was that they will have their lives, they will not die in war, they will live.
Application
When I read Hosea's word to return, I am reminded of Jeremiah's weird word that I had recevied from GOD since 2023 when I met Stephen was in Jeremiah 31:22 How long will you wander, O faithless daughter? For the LORD has created a new thing in the land--a woman will shelter a man." I honestly understood this that a man will be under the covering of a woman's shelter as that a woman will be the source of provision of their family. I do not like this idea because I believe men should make coverings for women and women will have to be covered by men but since GOD is doing something new, I had been waiting for him to do this thing HE was trying to tell me but 2 years have already passed and I am already tired from waiting. If it was GOD's will it should have happened already. But I will keep my faith in the LORD, I will wait even without excitement or hope because I have no where else to turn to, not even Egypt. I will wait on the LORD until HE calls me home.

Blessed are YOU O HOLY GOD Almighty YESHUA KING of the Universe!!! Thank YOU for bringing me back home safe and for keeping everyone safe in my home, but here I am without the joy of hope but I will still trust YOU to do what YOU have promised me. Thank YOU for allowing me to rest and explore but my body feels tired from the travel and I will keep my heart and mind fixed on YOU for YOU are my life. O GOD thank YOU for everything. I just want to thank YOU for YOUR Presence, just know that I need YOU more and more everyday. I love YOU and I want YOU to be the greatest love of my life. No one will ever love me like YOU. Help me O GOD to be all that YOU want me to do and to follow YOU wherever YOU want me to go. Help me because this life is difficult for me. All these hopes that are frequently cut off, hurting me, teach me to only hope in YOU. Forgive all my sins and weaknesses and desire for other things than YOU. Forgive O GOD and have mercy on me.
