Christ's Sacrifice Once for All
1 For since the law has but a shadow of the good things to come instead of the true form of these realities, it can never, by the same sacrifices that are continually offered every year, make perfect those who draw near. 2 Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, since the worshipers, having once been cleansed, would no longer have any consciousness of sins? 3 But in these sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. 4 For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
5 Consequently, when Christ[a] came into the world, he said,
“Sacrifices and offerings you have not desired, but a body have you prepared for me;
6 in burnt offerings and sin offerings you have taken no pleasure.
7 Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come to do your will, O God, as it is written of me in the scroll of the book.’”
8 When he said above, “You have neither desired nor taken pleasure in sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings” (these are offered according to the law), 9 then he added, “Behold, I have come to do your will.” He does away with the first in order to establish the second. 10 And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11 And every priest stands daily at his service, offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. 12 But when Christ[b] had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, 13 waiting from that time until his enemies should be made a footstool for his feet. 14 For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.
15 And the Holy Spirit also bears witness to us; for after saying,
16 “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, declares the Lord:
I will put my laws on their hearts, and write them on their minds,”
17 then he adds,
“I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.”
18 Where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer any offering for sin.

Jesus Is Lord of the Sabbath

His disciples were hungry, and they began to pluck heads of grain and to eat. 2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said to him, “Look, your disciples are doing what is not lawful to do on the Sabbath.” 3 He said to them, “Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, and those who were with him: 4 how he entered the house of God and ate the bread of the Presence, which it was not lawful for him to eat nor for those who were with him, but only for the priests? 5 Or have you not read in the Law how on the Sabbath the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath and are guiltless? 6 I tell you, something greater than the temple is here. 7 And if you had known what this means, ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the guiltless. 8 For the Son of Man is lord of the Sabbath.”
God's Chosen Servant
15 Jesus, aware of this, withdrew from there. And many followed him, and he healed them all 16 and ordered them not to make him known. 17 This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah:
18 “Behold, my servant whom I have chosen, my beloved with whom my soul is well pleased.
I will put my Spirit upon him, and he will proclaim justice to the Gentiles.
19 He will not quarrel or cry aloud, nor will anyone hear his voice in the streets;
20 a bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not quench,
until he brings justice to victory;
21 and in his name the Gentiles will hope.”

24 He put another parable before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field, 25 but while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds[l] among the wheat and went away. 26 So when the plants came up and bore grain, then the weeds appeared also. 27 And the servants[m] of the master of the house came and said to him, ‘Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have weeds?’ 28 He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ So the servants said to him, ‘Then do you want us to go and gather them?’ 29 But he said, ‘No, lest in gathering the weeds you root up the wheat along with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, “Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.”’”

31 He put another parable before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field. 32 It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is larger than all the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.”
33 He told them another parable. “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven that a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, till it was all leavened.”

34 All these things Jesus said to the crowds in parables; indeed, he said nothing to them without a parable. 35 This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet:[n]
“I will open my mouth in parables;

36 Then he left the crowds and went into the house. And his disciples came to him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds of the field.” 37 He answered, “The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, and the good seed is the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one, 39 and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels. 40 Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at the end of the age. 41 The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, 42 and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown and in his own household.” 58 And he did not do many mighty works there, because of their unbelief.

Observation
I really appreciate Abraham for working with his servant to find a wife for his son Isaac, I believe every parent should be like Abraham who not only looks after the provisions of his children but to look after their life even when they will already have gone from the earth. Before dying, Abraham made sure that Isaac his son will have his own family.
In Matthew JESUS is our true rest, even so because HE is GOD and we all HIS created beings have come from HIM and were created through HIM, we will find our true rest in HIM, in HIS will, in HIS purpose, and in HIS love. For HE is the chosen servant of GOD whom GOD Himself is pleased because JESUS always does the will of HIS Father, it's not about sacrifices, even though HE sacrificed Himself but it was because of HIS obedience that HE pleased the Father and therefore we should follow HIS example to know the will of GOD and follow it more than sacrificing anything that GOD did not even require. HE wants us to follow HIS will and we can only do this by knowing HIM.
Application
I am praying to My FATHER to look after me to provide a husband for me who will take care of me even now that I am living in this cruel world. I know his love won't be perfect because he is not perfect, only GOD is perfect and HIS love is the perfect love that I need that will complete and satisfy me, not a husband or a successful career, it is JESUS my greatest husband and lover of me. But I still pray for JESUS to give me a physical representation of HIS divine love for me through a husband who will adore and cherish me the way HE does. Because it is my desire and so I ask this of HIM even though I have been asking for a long time, I am resting in HIS faithfulness and depending on HIS trustworthiness to provide for me all the things that I need and more. I am relying on HIM. But I want to be closer to HIM even more, I want to know HIS thoughts and plans and what HE wants me to do so that I can follow HIM and obey HIM and be pleasing to HIM. HE is my hope and salvation in this world, HE is the greatest satisfaction of my heart.

HOLY HOLY HOLY are YOU O GOD YESHUA KING of the Universe!!! Great are YOU O GOD in all and everything that has happened, YES YOU are great and Sovereign and I will continue to lift up YOUR Name!!! JESUS YOU are MY GOD and YOU know how much I need YOU, and how I need YOUR love. But O GOD I also need the love of a husband and not just a family. I thank YOU for the family that YOU have given me, I really am thankful even though I have hated them too, but I am thankful that YOU have saved us but LORD, if YOU don't want me to get married please don't allow me to have these desires anymore but today while I have my period I still long for that marriage that YOU promised me, the good thing YOU said YOU will not withold from me because it is not only good for me but also good for my husband and family. LORD I believe nothing is impossible with YOU and nothing is too difficult for YOU so why YOU have not yet brought me to a husband who will give his life to die to marry me??? Please answer me, I want to have this relationship with YOU where we can just communicate easily as I communicate with humans. I pray for that man O GOD, right now my thoughts are with Garrick Yu, I know he doesn't remember me, so why do I remember him? I pray O GOD that YOU would just save him, bring him into YOUR kingdom, and take care of him, bless HIM and make him a new man with a new heart and spirit that will serve and love YOU. I pray for my husband, I don't care if he is Australian or American, whatever race he is, I pray that YOU bring our paths together for marriage, I pray O GOD, have YOUR way in us and our families. I pray for the salvation and healing of Predo Ordoyo, I thank YOU for answering my prayers for Manuela Ugaddan and Raymund Cal, continue to speak to them O LORD, and heal their bodies. I pray for the deliverance of Janie Rose Gulfan and Michael Placencia that they will completely surrender their lives to YOU and follow YOU bringing joy to their loved ones who pray for them day after day. I pray that YOU not only save my husband into YOUR Kingdom but make him holy and obedient just as YOU have made me. Use someone to pair us, like Aunt Camille Uy and Uncle Nelson or like Aunt Pacita. I pray O GOD bring us together into YOUR throne, into YOUR church, bring us together for marriage O GOD I pray. Take care of us O GOD, heal us O GOD, because YOU have been preparing us for long time. LORD thank YOU for YOUR love, and faithfulness, please help me to always focus on YOU. Thank YOU for protecting Cebu from Uwan typhoon and thank YOU for working out all things for our good. Thank YOU that YOU will remove corrupt politicians and replace them with righteous leaders who love the Philippines. O LORD comfort and heal those who have lost their loved ones and homes, please GOD save their souls so that they enter into YOUR Kingdom. I pray O GOD, bring me to my husband I pray O GOD bring us together for the sake of YOUR Name and Glory for YOU deserve all the honor, glory, power and praise!!!
