28 All these are the twelve tribes of Israel. This is what their father said to them as he blessed them, blessing each with the blessing suitable to him. 29 Then he commanded them and said to them, “I am to be gathered to my people; bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite, 30 in the cave that is in the field at Machpelah, to the east of Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field from Ephron the Hittite to possess as a burying place. 31 There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife. 4 And when the days of weeping for him were past, Joseph spoke to the household of Pharaoh, saying, “If now I have found favor in your eyes, please speak in the ears of Pharaoh, saying, 5 ‘My father made me swear, saying, “I am about to die: in my tomb that I hewed out for myself in the land of Canaan, there shall you bury me.” Now therefore, let me please go up and bury my father. God's Good Purposes
15 When Joseph's brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, “It may be that Joseph will hate us and pay us back for all the evil that we did to him.” 16 So they sent a message to Joseph, saying, “Your father gave this command before he died: 17 ‘Say to Joseph, “Please forgive the transgression of your brothers and their sin, because they did evil to you.”’ And now, please forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of your father.” Joseph wept when they spoke to him. 18 His brothers also came and fell down before him and said, “Behold, we are your servants.” 19 But Joseph said to them, “Do not fear, for am I in the place of God? 20 As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people[b] should be kept alive, as they are today.

The Flight to Egypt

He said to the woman, “Did God actually say, ‘You[a] shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?” 2 And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden, 3 but God said, ‘You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.’” 4 But the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. 5 For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” 6 So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise,[b] she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate. 7 Then the eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked. 19 for I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance, 20 as it is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death. 21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22 If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. Yet which I shall choose I cannot tell. 23 I am hard pressed between the two. My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better. 24 But to remain in the flesh is more necessary on your account. 25 Convinced of this, I know that I will remain and continue with you all, for your progress and joy in the faith, 26 so that in me you may have ample cause to glory in Christ Jesus, because of my coming to you again.
27 Only let your manner of life be worthy[a] of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel, 28 and not frightened in anything by your opponents. This is a clear sign to them of their destruction, but of your salvation, and that from God. 29 For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake, 30 engaged in the same conflict that you saw I had and now hear that I still have.

Observation
In Matthew Joseph led Mary and their family, but Joseph didn't just lead, he followed GOD and the leading of the HOLY SPIRIT for them to go to Egypt, to go back to Israel and not in Bethlehem but in Galilee, and thus fulling the Scriptures that said JESUS would grow up a Nazarene because he came from Nazareth. Joseph followed the voice of GOD that is how simple it is to live, we just need to follow GOD one step and one day at a time. May the LORD who promised to take care of me give me a "Joseph" or a loving husband, who is following GOD diligently, daily seeking HIM, listening to HIS voice and following HIS leading.
In Genesis 3 - GOD put certain punishments for everyone HE has created who had sinned: but what strikes me the most is the punishment for woman, and it makes me ask, just because I desire a husband to love me, does it mean I am cursed and suffering punishment for desiring?
Application
In Philippians 1:19-20 gives me much hope and assurance that whatever I do for GOD and because of the prayers of people surrounding me, I will be victorious, I will not be ashamed, because my trust is in GOD and I am covered by GOD. GOD will rescue me if I have brought myself back to a trap or a pit, GOD will not leave me alone, HE promises never to forsake me, GOD will lead me, take me by the hand and help me to win in every situation I am in for HE promised me that I am more than a conqueror therefore I will focus on HIS promises and all not look at the hopelessness of the circumstances or be overwhelmed by the difficulty of the situation I am in, I will not fear, I will not worry, I will trust in GOD who has called me to be fruitful and multiply.

Dear AVI,
Blessed are YOU O LORD My GOD Great and Almighty - YESHUA KING of the Universe!!! HOLY is YOUR NAME O GOD, YOU are faithful and true and I cling to YOU. O GOD, YOU know the dilemma I am in, I love Michael Rhys but he is incapable of being a man who will stand up and provide for a family. He is not working, he does not have chores, he is right now medicated because of his adhd/aspergers disorder. He is not well, he is in so much need of YOU. I don't want to love a man who cannot take care of me, I want YOU to fix me, heal me, from being a healer for people who cannot love me back or take care of me. I want YOU to heal me, and heal Michael Rhys, heal us from being broken from all the pain and trauma caused by our families. I pray O GOD, help me and I am so thankful for YOUR encouragement to me today, that I will be delivered no matter what because YOU will always come to save me, YOU will always do something great for me for I am YOUR daughter who is dependent on YOU. I pray healing for Manuela, Raymond, Baby Thalia, deliverance for her parents and salvation for Janie Rose, Mark and Michael P. I pray humility and salvation for Marcelino Po, Baby Aquino and Phoebe Aquino, I pray healing for them all. I pray that Michael Rhys will continue to pray for his families' salvation. I pray that YOU will draw Michael Rhys closer and closer to YOU, for him to have a deep relationship with YOU, I pray that my parents and siblings will be humble before YOU too. I pray that YOU will grant me the wisdom and peace that I need everyday, I don't want to fail in all that YOU want me to do, I want YOU to take my hand and lead me everyday, help me to live for YOU O GOD, help me, grant me grace and good health.
