Scriptures

Torah Parshat Bo, 2nd Portion (Shemot (Exodus) 10:12-10:23)
Exodus 10:12-23
English Standard Version
12 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, so that they may come upon the land of Egypt and eat every plant in the land, all that the hail has left.” 13 So Moses stretched out his staff over the land of Egypt, and the Lord brought an east wind upon the land all that day and all that night. When it was morning, the east wind had brought the locusts. 14 The locusts came up over all the land of Egypt and settled on the whole country of Egypt, such a dense swarm of locusts as had never been before, nor ever will be again. 15 They covered the face of the whole land, so that the land was darkened, and they ate all the plants in the land and all the fruit of the trees that the hail had left. Not a green thing remained, neither tree nor plant of the field, through all the land of Egypt. 16 Then Pharaoh hastily called Moses and Aaron and said, “I have sinned against the Lord your God, and against you. 17 Now therefore, forgive my sin, please, only this once, and plead with the Lord your God only to remove this death from me.” 18 So he went out from Pharaoh and pleaded with the Lord. 19 And the Lord turned the wind into a very strong west wind, which lifted the locusts and drove them into the Red Sea. Not a single locust was left in all the country of Egypt. 20 But the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he did not let the people of Israel go.
The Ninth Plague: Darkness
21 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, a darkness to be felt.” 22 So Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and there was pitch darkness in all the land of Egypt three days. 23 They did not see one another, nor did anyone rise from his place for three days, but all the people of Israel had light where they lived.

WWCF Readings
Matthew 19

Matthew 19
English Standard Version
Teaching About Divorce
1 Now when Jesus had finished these sayings, he went away from Galilee and entered the region of Judea beyond the Jordan. 2 And large crowds followed him, and he healed them there.
3 And Pharisees came up to him and tested him by asking, “Is it lawful to divorce one's wife for any cause?” 4 He answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, 5 and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? 6 So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.” 7 They said to him, “Why then did Moses command one to give a certificate of divorce and to send her away?” 8 He said to them, “Because of your hardness of heart Moses allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. 9 And I say to you: whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery.”[a]
10 The disciples said to him, “If such is the case of a man with his wife, it is better not to marry.” 11 But he said to them, “Not everyone can receive this saying, but only those to whom it is given. 12 For there are eunuchs who have been so from birth, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Let the one who is able to receive this receive it.”
Let the Children Come to Me
13 Then children were brought to him that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked the people, 14 but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” 15 And he laid his hands on them and went away.
The Rich Young Man
16 And behold, a man came up to him, saying, “Teacher, what good deed must I do to have eternal life?” 17 And he said to him, “Why do you ask me about what is good? There is only one who is good. If you would enter life, keep the commandments.” 18 He said to him, “Which ones?” And Jesus said, “You shall not murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, 19 Honor your father and mother, and, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 20 The young man said to him, “All these I have kept. What do I still lack?” 21 Jesus said to him, “If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.” 22 When the young man heard this he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.
23 And Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly, I say to you, only with difficulty will a rich person enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.” 25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?” 26 But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” 27 Then Peter said in reply, “See, we have left everything and followed you. What then will we have?” 28 Jesus said to them, “Truly, I say to you, in the new world,[b] when the Son of Man will sit on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29 And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for my name's sake, will receive a hundredfold[c] and will inherit eternal life. 30 But many who are first will be last, and the last first.

The Entire Bible
Genesis 37-38; Mark 8:11-30; Psalm 9

Mark 8:11-30
English Standard Version
The Pharisees Demand a Sign
11 The Pharisees came and began to argue with him, seeking from him a sign from heaven to test him. 12 And he sighed deeply in his spirit and said, “Why does this generation seek a sign? Truly, I say to you, no sign will be given to this generation.” 13 And he left them, got into the boat again, and went to the other side.
The Leaven of the Pharisees and Herod
14 Now they had forgotten to bring bread, and they had only one loaf with them in the boat. 15 And he cautioned them, saying, “Watch out; beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.”[a] 16 And they began discussing with one another the fact that they had no bread. 17 And Jesus, aware of this, said to them, “Why are you discussing the fact that you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive or understand? Are your hearts hardened? 18 Having eyes do you not see, and having ears do you not hear? And do you not remember? 19 When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” They said to him, “Twelve.” 20 “And the seven for the four thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” And they said to him, “Seven.” 21 And he said to them, “Do you not yet understand?”
Jesus Heals a Blind Man at Bethsaida
22 And they came to Bethsaida. And some people brought to him a blind man and begged him to touch him. 23 And he took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village, and when he had spit on his eyes and laid his hands on him, he asked him, “Do you see anything?” 24 And he looked up and said, “I see people, but they look like trees, walking.” 25 Then Jesus[b] laid his hands on his eyes again; and he opened his eyes, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly. 26 And he sent him to his home, saying, “Do not even enter the village.”
Peter Confesses Jesus as the Christ
27 And Jesus went on with his disciples to the villages of Caesarea Philippi. And on the way he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that I am?” 28 And they told him, “John the Baptist; and others say, Elijah; and others, one of the prophets.” 29 And he asked them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered him, “You are the Christ.” 30 And he strictly charged them to tell no one about him.

Psalm 9
English Standard Version
I Will Recount Your Wonderful Deeds
[a] To the choirmaster: according to Muth-labben.[b] A Psalm of David.
1 I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart;
I will recount all of your wonderful deeds.
2 I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.
3 When my enemies turn back, they stumble and perish before[c] your presence.
4 For you have maintained my just cause;
you have sat on the throne, giving righteous judgment.
5 You have rebuked the nations; you have made the wicked perish;
you have blotted out their name forever and ever.

6 The enemy came to an end in everlasting ruins;
their cities you rooted out; the very memory of them has perished.
7 But the Lord sits enthroned forever; he has established his throne for justice,
8 and he judges the world with righteousness; he judges the peoples with uprightness.
9 The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.
10 And those who know your name put their trust in you,
for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.

11 Sing praises to the Lord, who sits enthroned in Zion!
Tell among the peoples his deeds!
12 For he who avenges blood is mindful of them; he does not forget the cry of the afflicted.
13 Be gracious to me, O Lord! See my affliction from those who hate me,
O you who lift me up from the gates of death,
14 that I may recount all your praises, that in the gates of the daughter of Zion
I may rejoice in your salvation.

15 The nations have sunk in the pit that they made;
in the net that they hid, their own foot has been caught.
16 The Lord has made himself known; he has executed judgment;
the wicked are snared in the work of their own hands. Higgaion.[d] Selah

17 The wicked shall return to Sheol, all the nations that forget God.
18 For the needy shall not always be forgotten, and the hope of the poor shall not perish forever.
19 Arise, O Lord! Let not man prevail; let the nations be judged before you!
20 Put them in fear, O Lord! Let the nations know that they are but men! Selah

Observation
Matthew 19 - JESUS says only with difficulty does a rich person be able to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. But when the disciples heard it, they were worried, nobody would be saved in that case, because even though they weren't rich, they understood that it was not easy even for them to enter GOD's Kingdom, but GOD grants us HIS hope in salvation when HE said "With man, it is impossible to be saved, but with GOD all things are possible.
Mark 8 - JESUS was angry at the pharisees for asking GOD for a sign, the signs were already evident when HE healed the sick and cast out demons from people who have been oppressed by them. The signs were right in front of their faces, but their hard hearts made them blind from what they were seeing, they did not want to accept JESUS as Messiah because they were programmed to expect a King, a Lion, not a Lamb, not a man born from a carpenter's son.

Application
Matthew 19 - GOD is saying, there is so much difficulty in this world, so much trouble, so much hindrance to enter the Kingdom of GOD, but we should not rely on our strength, wisdom and understanding. We have to rely on GOD who makes all things possible, we have to ask HIM to do for  us the things that we cannot do.
Mark 8 - I am the one asking GOD for a sign that MRP should be healed, that MRP should be prayed for and be healed because I don't want to continue whatever I am doing, teaching him the WORD, praying with him because I don't see any fruits.

Prayers

I will not compromise my own faith, my peace over a person who cannot surrender everything to YOU, forgive me for my impatience, forgive me if I am viewing him differently than my other assignments because I have an end in mind, please help me to surrender my ideology to YOU and the perfect story to happen for me to accept what it is that is YOUR Will. Please FATHER provide an avenue that Michael will slowly be prayed for, even this Wednesday if it is YOUR will, help us, let Matet's friend be able to communicate with us and pray for Michael. I don't know what will happen O GOD but I am praying for Michael's deliverance and if he cannot be delivered, I don't want to be with him anymore because I am tired. I pray for salvation, deliverance over his family Marcelino, Babe and Phoebe, the other people Janie Rose, Mark and Michael Placencia, I pray healing over Manuela, Raymond and Baby Thalia, I pray O GOD let these people surrender their lives to YOU, I ask YOU each day O GOD, please don't forget them, I pray salvation and healing for Edmond the cousin of Michael who had been kind to him, and even for Atzek Bea who had been looking after him. Please FATHER let these people seek YOU and know YOU, I pray for my own family to be humble before YOU, to love YOU, to be obedient and pleasing to YOU, to walk in the integrity of YOUR TRUTH, please O GOD, have mercy on all of us. I ask YOU make me fruitful, make me multiply, make me holy, make me joyful in YOU, help me to keep loving YOU, to keep believing for what YOU have promised me, to keep praying for everything that concerns me knowing that YOU MY FATHER already knows everything I need. I ask YOU O GOD, have YOUR way in me because I need YOU more than anything in my life. I need YOUR love, YOUR approval, YOUR SPIRIT continuously working faithfully in me. Please bring my husband to me, bring us together O GOD and make him ready already when we meet, preserve him, bless him, keep him, do not allow him to be led astray but help him to be devoted to YOU to please YOU and honor YOU with his life and heart and his hands, let it always bear fruit for YOU for YOU deserve all the honor, glory, power and praise!!!
